Botanical Relief Printing - Single Class - Feb. 19th

Come learn about the block/relief printmaking process in a small group setting. We will turn your botanical design/drawing into a carving on linoleum, and then we will print it onto multiple blank greeting cards. Traceable designs will also be provided as an option. This is a beginner level class taught by Allison Geneser, LSW co-owner and painter/printmaker/muralist.

Relief printing is the earliest printing process, having originated in China around 255 BC. Chinese artists carved their seals into stone and wood, creating pictures and writings.

Refreshments and supplies will be provided.

Please leave kids and pets at home. Our current classes are for people 16+.

Classes take place at our shop: 105 E San Antonio St. You may park for free in front of/near the shop or on the Square. Please arrive on time or a few minutes early! If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to catch you up to speed.
