We befriended Mike Geglia here in Lockhart and have had the honor of showcasing his incredible work in our gallery. We love how Mike captures so much with light and shadows. He works primarily in oil on canvas. His current focus is the exploration of spatial relationships & the effects of light and shadows on simple everyday objects, in hopes of creating a kind of timeless imagery.

Mike carries a BFA from SUNY New Paltz & an MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also a retired professional Rockabilly guitar player!! He currently resides in Rochester, NY with his wife, Claudia, and two orange tabby cats, Conan & Leo. We think he’s a pretty neat guy!
